GES to supports the Motorsport Safety Foundation

This season the Gathering of Tweakers Endurance Series (GES) announced to align with the partnership the NEO Endurance Series (NES) has with the Motorsport Safety Foundation (MSF). Both NES and GES will raise money for MSF together this season.

The partnership between NEO and MSF started last year at the start of the NEO Endurance Series and its support series the GES.

MSF has been supportive from the start and the partnership between the two is getting stronger every moment. MSF has been impressed by the support from a unique direction.

Both race series will have various ways to raise money.
NEO will participate in MSF’s program called “% for Safety”. $6 of the entry fee of each team will go to MSF.
The GES donates all excess received from entry fees from the 42 teams.
And both series will donate the money raised by roster changes. There is a fee of $5 per driver for changing the roster during the season. The full amount of this fee will go MSF at the end of the season.

Besides these initiatives by the series, both NEO and GES encourage everybody to support MSF by donating. Any amount is welcome! Go to motorsport-safety.com/donate and help to improve the sport all sim racers love.

About Motorsport Safety Foundation

The Motorsport Safety Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving safety standards in motorsport. It is a community where members can come together and have a voice, a place to share safety concerns and collaborate on research. MSF encourages active participation from all members who share our view that motorsport can and should be safer.

The charity was founded in honor of Sean Edwards, a professional race car driver who tragically died while coaching from the passenger seat at an Australian race track. Sean crashed into a reinforced concrete wall that was not properly equipped with the minimum safety barriers to dissipate the impact.

Issues like these are what the Motorsport Safety Foundation continuously works to change: fixable problems that can prevent another driver, crew marshal, or even fan from serious injury or death.
