The 2016 Season 3 is coming to an end, and that can mean only one thing: the Gathering of Tweakers 2016 Season 3 Finale!

Introducing: the Gathering of Tweakers: Aussie Seagul Challenge! This season, the Spec Racer Ford (SRF) will be used to fight to the finish in a double header event at Philip Island. First, we’ll run a 15 minute sprint race to determine the grid for the second 60 minute main event race. The overal winner is the first person to cross the finish line in the 60 minute main event.

[u]Cautions:[/u] Local yellows and full course yellow, decided upon by live marshals.

Between both races, there will be a 5 minute break, and 10 minute warmup in the second server.

[u]Qualify:[/u] 18:30 – 18:45 (15 minutes, 4 laps lone)
[u]Sprint Race:[/u] 18:45 –  19:00 (15 minute race)

[u]Break:[/u] 19:05 – 19:10
[u]Warmup 2:[/u]: 19:10 – 19:20
[u]Main race:[/u] 19:20 –  20:20 (60 minute race)

Saturday, September 10th: 18:00 – 22:00 (4 hours)

[b]Team mates[/b]  
THIS event is NOT a team race, every driver races alone.

[b]Live marshals[/b]  
There is no live marshalling, but there will be admins in the server. If people misbehave on track or chat, they will be penalized or removed from the server.

[b]Restrictions[/b]  
Unfortunately, we feel mandated to impose a small minimum license restriction before you are eligible to race.  
Minimum road license: C class  
Minimum road iRating: 1500   

Gathering of Tweakers community members who do not meet these restrictions may be allowed to race at the discretion of the organization.    


[b]Podium after the Chequered Flag[/b]  
The winning driver is invited to join the Racespot TV teamspeak server for a short interview. Details on how to join their server will be in the PM with the password of the race.

During the race, it’s not allowed to use the iRacing text and voice chat.
