GoT – 2 hours of MoSport | January 22nd, 2013 | S4 2012

Following the popular VIR90 endurance race in week 13 of last season, Gathering of Tweakers (GoT) is once again organizing a challenging and interesting endurance race in the coming week 13. This race will once again be the season finale for our Gathering of Tweakers seasonal tournament, but as before everyone is welcome to join, even if you did not participate in any of our races this season.

This season’s finale will be a 2-hour endurance race on MoSport International Raceway, with the popular Star Mazda sharing the track with the slightly faster Lotus ’79! This unique open-wheel multi-class race is sure to bring some excitement with cars not often used in endurance races. The race will take place on the first Tuesday in week 13, January 22nd 2013.

To ensure that the race does not end up being a hotlapping contest, we require a minimum of 20 drivers for this race. If we do not reach this number we will likely switch it to a shorter single-class race, but we are hopeful we will easily reach this amount.

Rules
All normal iRacing rules apply.
The two marshals can penalize drivers for unsafe driving / overtaking. The penalties can vary depending on the severity:
– Warning;
– Stop and Go;
– Stop and wait;
– Immediate disqualification;
– Position corrections after the race.
To ask the marshals to look into a incident during the race a simple x in the chat is enough.

Chat
Text chat during Qualification and the Race is besides the x for the marshals prohibited.
Voice chat during Qualification and the Race may only be used for short messages to other drivers in case of lapping or other safety communication.
